I am Janine van Schalkwyk, a registered Clinical Psychologist based in Windhoek. With a deep and personal understanding of life's complexities, I aim to meet every client with empathy and compassion. Together, we will create a safe space to explore your emotions and experiences, as we work towards healing and positive change.

I obtained my bachelor's and honor's degrees in Social Science (Psychology) from the University of the Free State in South Africa. Upon returning to Namibia, I completed my master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Namibia.

Apart from being a Clinical Psychologist, I am also a proud mother of two beautiful children and have been blessed with a supportive husband. Our lived experiences are not only what shapes us, but also connects us. I prioritize compassion and understanding as I delicately work to understand each client's unique lived experience.
